05-14-2013 ISU Visit, a set on Flickr. Thank you to the coaches and staff of Iowa State University for stopping at Camp Courageous during their summer bus tour. It was a great experience for campers, parents, and staff to meet with them, get autographs, and take pictures. [...] Camp Courageous’ sympathy goes out to the family of Wilma Guetzko of Delhi, who recently passed away. Wilma was a wonderful volunteer at the Manchester Garage Sale and participated in the Square Dance Benefit and other camp activites. Wilma was a joy to work with and always willing to pitch in when help was [...] Dr, Ron Hill and Greg Barns presenting a check and cash from Dewitt Lions Noon Chapter meeting. Thanks to this wonderful group of volunteers who came to camp from Topeka, KS to volunteer at Camp Courageous. They helped paint in Beckwith Dorm and worked on some carpentry projects. They were a fun group to have at camp and we hope they come back again. [...] |
