While I was the Associate Director at Camp Courageous I had the good fortune of getting to know and work with Leo Greco. One would be hard pressed to ever meet a more kind and caring person who was always willing to help anyone. He had a heart of gold and an amazing level of integrity. I admired Leo and learned many things from him on how to live my life “the right way.” Rest in peace my friend and may you enjoy riding in your little red wagon in heaven with Louise at your side.

My sympathy to the Greco family as well as the Camp Courageous family.

As the parents of one of the 10 campers who went to New York in June, 2011, I am so proud to see our son
on the front row greeting Al Roker.
he reports that it was so much fun.

We were at the Marconi awards in Washington, DC and were surprised to hear Leo Greco’s name as the winner of small market personality of the year (as one of our own employees was up for the same award). My husband and I have been married 44 years and Mr. Greco and his band played at our wedding at Elmcrest Country Club. All the best to him!! I lived in Manchester for five years and grew up in Cedar Rapids until I went off to college. My husband now owns many small market radio stations and he is very involved in radio nationally thru the NAB so we attend many Marconi banquets. Congrats to Mr. Greco!! Please stay active and thanks for the memories!!!
