Bud & Georgia Johnson match donations for the Camp Courageous Waste Water Treatment Project

Raising money for a Waste Water Treatment Plant can be a challenge.  The Pineapple Committee set out with a plan.  At the end of the Gala they would sell rolls of TP for $100 a roll, or $250 for a roll with a silver ribbon or $500 for a roll with a gold ribbon.  One can imagine everyone’s shock at the Pineapple Gala, when Bud & Georgia Johnson of Monticello, IA challenged the crowd by matching dollar for dollar up $15,000!  The crowd responded enthusiastically in raising over $15,000.  A huge thank you to Bud and Georgia for making a huge impact at Camp Courageous!  Georgia, who serves on the Pineapple Gala Committee, is eager finding unique items for the Gala, the day after the Gala.  Together one can see them helping with the camp breakfasts and other camp events….super couple!
