The Camp Courageous Annual Pancake Breakfast and Open House will be held at the Camp Courageous newly remodeled Main Lodge on Sunday, September 24th from 8 A.M. until Noon. The menu will include all you can eat pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk & coffee. The cost is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 12. Tour guides, located just outside the Lodge’s SE door, will be available all morning.
Live reenactment of a train robbery will be performed by Red Cedar Regulators at the Camp’s Train Depot at 9 A.M., 9:45 A.M., 10:45 A.M., and 11:45 A.M. The Super Zip and Bounce House will be available during the duration of the breakfast, weather permitting. The musical sound of the Dixie-Notes-Plus will be performing live at the Sill Barn at 9:30 A.M., 10:30 A.M., and 11:30 A.M. all on the camp’s grounds.
An eleven-minute audio video presentation about the camp will be available every 30-minutes in the camp’s main office. The Camp Store, with new camp merchandise, will be open and is also located in the camp’s main office.
The Lake Todd area of the camp, will be a featured area, with the completion of a sidewalk around the Lake. There will be a huge Quilt Sale, with over 500 quilts being sold by “Inspired To Sew” in the Durgin Pavilion, that sits on Lake Todd from 8AM -1PM.
The Camp Courageous Fruit Cake Sales begin with this event, and will be available for sale.
The Lodge will also be the location for a silent auction of antique glassware and dishes.
