Years ago Larry Richtsmeier’s dad (Dutch) began making wooden toys for the Lion’s Vision Impaired Week. Dutch made thousands of handmade wooden toys over a 15 year span. Now for about the past 10 years Larry has been carrying on the tradition started by his father. Each year a different vehicle/model. Larry’s wife Charlene also makes homemade activity bags for the campers and now that she is retired, joins her husband on these donation delivery trips to camp. They always bring donations from another group or two as well. Thank you Richtsmeier’s for bringing joy to so many and for supporting camp so faithfully over the years!
