Sister Mary Assumpta Glaser and the Sisters of Mount St. Francis Continue Support of Camp Courageous

A special thank you to Sister Mary Assumpta Glaser, OSF (right) from the Sisters of Mount St. Francis in Dubuque for her ongoing support of Camp Courageous over the years. Her involvement goes back to Camp’s earliest days. In the 70s, Sister Mary was the principal at Monticello’s Sacred Heart Catholic School and volunteered at Camp Courageous in her spare time. She helped in the kitchen and wherever else help was needed. It was a delight to visit with her about those early days and how far the camp has come since. Despite being over 90 years old now, she stays as busy as a twenty-year-old.

Pictured (L-R) are Sister Ann Rubly and Sister Mary Assumpta Glaser with boxes of card fronts they collect for Camp Courageous’ arts and crafts program on a regular basis. Thank you to the Sisters of Mount St. Francis for all the support they provide Camp Courageous and countless others.
