Back-To-School Festival set for Sept. 14th at Camp Courageous

Attention Special Educators!!

On TUESDAY, September 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Camp Courageous is hosting the 22nd Annual Back-to-School Festival. This is a FREE event for campers.

The festival will include booths, such as a duck pond, splatter paint, tic-tac-toe, roulette and bean bag toss. There will be a fortune teller, prize booth, face painting and more. Bounce House, swimming, and barsumo will be available. Hayrides and many more surprises will be offered. Lunch is provided.

Please have all the students wear name tags. This is very important in case a participant gets separated from your group.

There is no charge for this fun-flled day. Please plan on providing enough adult supervision for your group. Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel so you can enjoy our heated indoor pools. Please plan on providing appropriate supervision for children in the water. For infants and toddlers up to 3 years of age an adult (at least 16 years of age) need to be within arms length of the child. For Children 4-5 years of age one adult is needed in the water for every 5 children and for school age 6-8 year olds one adult is needed in the water for every 10 children. In addition, children that require more supervision for their safety while in the pool may require one-to one supervision in the water.

RSVP by phoning 465-5916 ext. 2300. If I am not in, please leave your name, school and number of students and adults attending. You may also email this information to jeanne@campcourageous.org.

Feel free to share this invitation with other special education teachers. See you then.
