The Annual Camp Courageous Pancake Breakfast and Open House is held on the last Sunday in September each year.
The 2019 Pancake Breakfast and Open House will be held on September 29th from 8 AM to Noon at the Camp Courageous Main Lodge. The breakfast will include pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk, and coffee. The cost is $7.00 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
In addition to a delicious breakfast, attendees can enjoy a morning of fun activities. Live music will be performed by the Dixie-Notes-Plus at the Sill Barn at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 AM. Live train robbery reenactments by the Red Cedar Regulators will be performed at the Train Depot at 9, 10:45, and 11:45 AM. One can also ride the Super-Zip, play in the bounce house, and bowl in Durgin Pavilion.
Tours of the grounds to see all the improvements to the Camp will also be available. Camp has installed solar panels on the John & Be Vermazen Indoor Pool and the Dick & Linda Andersen Multi-Purpose Building. Camp is currently in the process of constructing the new Bill & Jodie Beckwith Maintenance Building.
Camp Courageous will kick off the Fruitcakes Campaign at this event. Fruitcakes will be available for purchase in the Main Lodge for $10 each.
