The purpose of this website page is to inform any individual or group of the types of diets and special meals prepared in the Camp Courageous kitchen. Please be sure to list all special dietary needs on each camper’s application. Also, be sure to review and update dietary information that the camp has on file. Questions? There are many more than listed, please ask if needing more information. This is the type of information that should be put on the original application and would be shared with nursing and counselors that actually work with the camper. A big help would be providing a list of food items the camper likes or dislikes. If there are unique products in a camper’s daily diet, please send with them if you are able. For example, if a camper a high sodium intake and typically drinks V8 juice, please send this with the camper, as our dietary department does not typically carry this product.
If there have been any diet changes between the time of filling out application and coming to camp, please update the application and let nursing or dietary know upon arrival or sooner.
