The purpose of this website page is to inform any individual or group of the types of diets and special meals prepared in the Camp Courageous kitchen. Please be sure to list all special dietary needs on each camper’s application. Also, be sure to review and update dietary information that the camp has on file. Question? There are many more than listed, please ask if needing more information. This is the type of information that should be put on the original application and would be shared with nursing and counselors that actually work with the camper.
A big help would be providing a list of food items the camper likes or dislikes. If they are restricted with certain foods but have favorite snack foods they like is very helpful. At times it is very hard to decide what they may be able to eat.
If there have been any diet changes between the time of filling out application and actually coming to camp, please let nursing or dietary know upon arrival or sooner.
