A big thank you to Anamosa Boy Scout Troop 19, L.D.S. Church in Mt. Vernon, and Stacy Fritz’s Tae Kwon Do group from Monticello for spending their Saturday morning hard at work on the camp’s train project. They have been a huge help on many occasions when we need help. Anamosa Wal-Mart Assistant Manager Derek Peck presents Camp Courageous board president Phil Martin, and board members Winnie Williams, and Jim Klinger a check for $1000 through the Wal-Mart Community Grant program. Derek is the grandson of camp dietary staff Sharon Holub. Camp would like to extend its appreciation to the Anamosa Wal-Mart and the Wal-Mart [...] Here is a wonderful group of Anamosans called “Joy”…and they are a joy to be around. They came to camp for a tour. Members include board members Dr. John Baily and John Parham Sr. A big thank you to these folks, who most have been long time supporters of the camp. |
