The Davenport VFW Post 828 volunteered at camp on a recent Saturday morning. For several of the members, it was their first visit to Camp Courageous and enjoyed touring the facilities and the camp DVD. In addition to all their hard work they brought along two truck loads of canned goods, food, and paper products. [...] Camp Courageous appreciated the opportunity to give a program to the Noon Optimist in Davenport. Most of their members have been to camp’s breakfasts, brought fruitcakes, or donated needed items. Great group! |
