The Monticello Lions Club, whose support of Camp Courageous goes back to day one, had an enjoyable meeting and dinner at camp. Each year Iowa Lions sponsor Lions Visually Impaired Week at camp. Camp Counselor Brianna Guimond, Ware, MA and Camper Amber Bushbaum Hampton IA and Monticello Lions President Kay Adams. The camper is expressing her thanks [...] Thank you to the Fritz’s Tae Kwon Do of Monticello for volunteering to ballist the rail for the train. With the new elevation of the track it needed to be ballisted. This group has been there for camp to help on many occasions. Great group! Thanks to the generosity of the Monticello Pizza Ranch owners, Brad and Shirley Davis, Camp Courageous will be receiving half of the gross receipts from the Monticello Pizza Ranch on Saturday March 20th. For example, if a customer purchased $20 in pizza and pop, $10 goes to camp. The benefit applies to dine-in, [...] (L-R) Dan and Joanne Yousse of Monticello have had the Monticello CarQuest for many years. They have been there for the camp at any hour of the day or night to help however they can.
