Camp Courageous is very fortunate to have Don & Sharon Kouba as friends. From the Pineapple Gala to our relationship with all that Ketelsen RV does for Camp Courageous, they are always there to help. A wonderful couple…we are so fortunate to call friends.
Continuing the tradition, the Regis 8th grade Girl’s Basketball team came out to Camp to help peel apples again this year. The team has been helping for several years. They always get a lot accomplished and they are a great help to camp.
Camp Courageous was honored to have Board President, Winnie Williams selected for the KCRG-TV “9 Who Care” Award.

More wonderful volunteers through the graduate physical therapy program at the University of Iowa setup through Kelly Saas. The students come to camp and work as counselors during respite care weekends and they are always among our best volunteers. Thanks to the January Academy students from Monticello High School who came out to help peel and cut up apples. The apples will be used for cobblers and pies for the campers and staff to enjoy throughout the year.
