Camp Courageous of Iowa continues to run on donations with no formal sponsorship or paid fund-raisers. A financial gift allows you to provide the camp funds for use where ever it may be needed. It will be used to purchase food, supplies, camper care items, and other expenses.

In general, donations to the camp will be tax deductible to many. However, you will need to contact your tax advisor to determine the deductibility of your contributions. You can make your donation in memory or in honor of an individual(s) or occasion. An acknowledgement about your gift can be sent to the individual(s) if you provide an address. |

Nothing is more valuable than your time and the camp appreciates your gift of time helping the camp. Help is needed from cutting grass to working with the campers. Individuals, groups, clubs, and organizations are welcome. Get more info here on volunteering at the camp.

 Courier Sponsorship

The camp's newsletter, the Courier, is the best way to help tell others about the dream of Camp Courageous of Iowa. Even though the printing of the Courier is done for close to cost, postage is still expensive. Currently, the cost to produce a single Courier issue and mail it is $10,000.00. Pool Blocks
Use the donation form to purchase a pool block
The Camp Courageous indoor pool was built one block at a time. Over the past few years it has become one of the more popular activities for the campers. You can help support this facility by buying a pool block for $1,000. Your name, or the wording of your choice, will be put on the block to show your gift to the camp. Use the secure online donation form with your Visa or Mastercard to purchase your block. |

Needs List

Camp Courageous appreciates all of the donations of items that can be used at the camp. Further, the camp maintains a specific list of items that are needed by the various departments at the camp. You can view the needs list in the camp's newsletter, the Courier, or view/download it from the web site. |

 United Way Donor Option
Although Camp Courageous of Iowa is not a United Way agency, United Way donors from California to New York have contributed to the camp by using the "donor option" program. This program allows donors to specify "Camp Courageous of Iowa" as the receipient of donations.
Contact your local United Way office or web site for a donation instructions or check the donor option on your company's or organization's donation form. |

 ebay Auctions
Do you sell on eBay? You can donate a percentage of your auctions to the camp through eBay's Mission Fish program. 10% to 100% of your auction can go to Camp Courageous of Iowa through this charity program.
 It's a great way to promote your auctions since visitors will see (through a special icon) that part of their payment will go to a great charity. For more information you can visit the eBay web site and click on the "Giving Works" link on the home page.

 Vehicle Donations
Do you have a car, truck, or RV that you'd like to donate to Camp Courageous of Iowa? If you are donating the vehicle so it can be sold to allow the camp to benefit from it's sale, then please review the V-DAC program. Due to the IRS laws, the easiest way to donate a vehicle that is to be liquidated is through this great program. See the V-DAC web site for more information.
